Description: The Order Management Specialist is responsible for providing support to all internal and external customers. The Specialist instructs, mentors, and trains team members to establish and maintain strong departmental systems, policies, and procedures that sustain a high level of service to all divisions. 

Responsibilities:

• Lead the day-to-day activities in Customer Service ensuring accurate responses to customers’ inquiries, timely order processing, and providing sales support.
• Recognize, train, and maintain training records of employees on Customer Service processes 
• Evaluate current Customer Service processes and recommend improvements
• Lead team meetings
• Provide regular updates with management addressing any issues and concerns
• Collaborate cross-functionally with multiple departments throughout the company
• Create and/or maintain work instructions as needed
• Work closely with Planning to facilitate the flow of information for orders
• Review customers set ups and sales orders to ensure accuracy 
• Complete or facilitate completion of Supplier registrations 
• Process customer orders and respond to routine requests via email, phone, fax or mail 
• Answer telephones and assist customers by answering inquiries or directing to appropriate department 
• Other duties as assigned 
• Follow established company SOP and ISO Guidelines 

Requirements:

• 3 years administrative and customer service experience or equivalent

• Bachelor’s degree
• Experience working with an ERP system
