Schedule Requirements:

· This is a temporary position for the holiday season. Please plan to work 12pm-5pm from November through the end of December.

Essential job duties include but are not limited to:

· Prepares motor carrier bills of lading

· Notifies motor carriers when trailers are ready for departure/pull

· Prepares and codes freight bills for payment, and verifies freight payments to applicable reports

· Maintains and organizes departmental files

· Compiles daily truck loading data for FedEx/UPS shipments.

· Maintains and organizes department files. Compiles and organizes departmental procedure manuals and updates as needed.

· Prepares and processes Canada shipping documents through Airborne shipping system. Completes day ending documentation. Updates customer files with applicable airbill number.

· Completes day ending documentation, and updates customer files with applicable air bill number

· Prepares shipping labels through the FedEx Powership and UPS maxi-ship systems. Completes day ending documentation.

· Compiles consumer direct spoilage and non-delivery claims history. Compiles drop ship history.

· Compiles Logistics Dept expense history. Prepares FedEx and UPS credit request logs.

· Provides clerical support and Excel spreadsheet support to Logistics Department management and personnel. Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· Excellent communication skills, and ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

· Knowledge of PC, including Word and Excel.

· Three to six months general office experience.
