Purpose Statement/s: The job of "Paraeducator - Health Room Assistant" assists in meeting the health needs of students according to District policies and school procedures under the guidance and direction of the school nurse; documents and maintains student health information required by the District, in addition to federal/state/local agency regulations; and provides appropriate care and/or referral for ill and injured students.
Paraeducator Required Attachments:
This 6.60 hour per day, continuing position works Monday - Friday, 180 days per year (plus 10 paid holidays).
This is a split position between LP Brown & Centennial Elementary School. The successful candidate will work Monday – Wednesday at LP Brown and Thursday – Friday at Centennial. Hours are 8:00 am – 2:30 pm, with daily hours subject to slight adjustments in start and end times.
As a condition of employment, employees must provide valid proof of vaccination for COVID-19 or a valid religious or medical exemption by October 18, 2021. In order to meet this requirement, employees must have received their second dose of the Moderna or Pfizer, or the single dose of the Johnson & Johnson, vaccine by October 4, 2021.
