Summary / Objective
The Safety Specialist will be responsible for establishing safety initiatives focused on driving safety culture. The Safety Specialist is also responsible for ensuring practices and policies are compliant with legal and internal safety and environmental regulations.
The Safety Specialist will spearhead the safety culture throughout the company by pushing through safety projects, developing safety policies and procedures, and ensuring continuous improvement of the site safety programs.
Assist in the implementation of a TPM program. Work with maintenance and operators to establish, train and follow up on the TPM program.

Position Type / Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work as needed.
Travel
This position requires limited travel (less than 10% of the time).
