We are looking for a Kennel Assistant who has a passion for caring for animals and has prior experience handling dogs and cats in a kennel setting. Our Kennel Assistants are an integral part of our hospital team whose primary role is to take care of up to 30 dogs and 25 cats while supporting the needs of other departments in the hospital. Job Requirements
Must have reliable transportation
Ability to work any shift including evenings, weekends and holidays. The kennel is staffed M-F 6:30 AM - 7:30 PM, and Sat-Sun 6:30 AM - 2 PM and 6:00PM - 8:00 PM.
This is a full time position. Ideal candidate must have had 1-2 years animal handling experience in a kennel or hospital setting.

Responsibilities
Provide care and comfort to our boarding guests.
Routine cleaning, exercising, feeding, bathing and medicating.
Client communication
Managing inventory
Maintaining a clean environment including cleaning and sanitizing kennels, floors, and laundry
Additional tasks include assisting medical staff on an as-needed basis with nail trims, administration of vaccinations and restraint for venipuncture.
