Olivet Academy is a private Christian school in Greenbelt, MD, with small, multi-grade classes. Our mission is to equip students with a Christ-centered education and to prepare them to influence the world for God’s glory.

We are seeking a dedicated 6th-grade GradeTeacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching and possess a strong understanding of various subjects, with a specialization in Science. You will be responsible for delivering engaging lessons, fostering critical thinking skills, and instilling biblical principles in all aspects of education.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that adhere to the school's curriculum
- Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning and spiritual growth.
- Implement innovative teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Collaborate with other teachers, parents, and administrators to ensure student success
- Utilize learning technology to enhance teaching methods and student engagement
- Manage classroom activities and maintain a well-organized and stimulating learning environment

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $5,800.00 - $5,900.00 per month
