Oliver Inc. is looking for a passionate Second Pressman to join our team. The ideal candidate will have offset press experience and will assist the Pressman to operate the assigned press, ensuring that the quality of printed work is compliant with the clients' requirements. The ideal candidate has an outgoing personality, is committed and enjoys work in team.

Responsibilities

• Hangs new plates in rotation determined by Pressman.
• Fills ink fountains and water units if necessary.
• Pulls sheets during run. Checks for scratches, holes, hickeys, etc. and consistency of color throughout press run.
• Washes ink fountains, rollers, blankets, etc. before each press run.
• Performs preventive maintenance on press; changes rollers, cleans units, etc

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years related experience. Press industry experience would be highly evaluated.
• Mechanical and chemical know-how
• Trouble shooting mind set
• Attention to detail and excellent close vision
• High school education
• People oriented
