Olive Vista Behavioral Health Center is Hiring a Behavior Specialist Near Pomona, CA

Are you looking for your new career in mental health and behavioral health field? Olive Vista Behavioral Health Center is hiring behavioral specialists!

Behavioral Specialist is the entry level of providing care to patients who have mental health and behavioral health issues. On-site training and on-going in-services will be provided. The facility provides ample internal growth opportunities for employees and support personal professional development.

Facility also provides CNA class sponsorship and job opportunity if you want to pursue a career in nursing!

  • Schedule: day, evening, weekends available.
  • Starting rate: $17/hr

Responsibilities: 

  • Collect data on all programming and write progress notes; 
  • Advises and consults with the family and other agency personnel; 
  • Participates in in-service program and presents in-service programs as assigned; 
  • Assist with therapy groups for clients;
  • Assist with visiting and safety check; 
  • Understands and adheres to established policies and procedures; 
  • Collaborate with CNAs and other nursing staff as required; 
  • Attend all staff meetings and patient care conferences as scheduled; 
  • Provides instructions and information to patients, family, and/or significant others regarding program and protocols; 
  • Observes confidentiality and safeguards all patient related information. 
  • Immediately report to supervisor any patient incidents/variance or complaints. 

Qualifications: 

  • Applicants must be 18 years of age and possess a minimum of a high school diploma or national equivalent.
  • Must be eligible to work in the United States
