Position Objective:

The Data Analyst at Ole plays a crucial role in supporting strategic decision-making through complex data analysis, trend identification, and data-based recommendations delivery. This position is essential for optimizing our business processes and continuously improving the quality and efficiency of our products and services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Analysis: Interpret complex data using advanced statistical methods to identify trends, patterns, and correlations across different business areas.
  • Reporting: Develop regular and ad-hoc reports, presenting findings clearly and effectively to stakeholders to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement in current processes through data analysis and work collaboratively with various teams to implement effective solutions.
  • Data Management: Ensure data accuracy and integrity by cleaning and filtering data, as well as reviewing reports and performances to detect and correct errors.
  • Interdepartmental Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including marketing, finance, and operations, to understand their information needs and support them with relevant data analysis.

Position Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Information Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Proven experience in a data analyst role or similar, preferably in the food industry or consumer goods sector.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in data analysis tools and statistical software (e.g., SQL, Python/R, SPSS, SAS), as well as data visualization packages (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Sigma).
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical ability with attention to detail, capable of organizing, analyzing, and disseminating large volumes of data with accuracy.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex analyses in an understandable way for non-technical stakeholders.
