Job Summary:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Personal Care Assistant to provide essential support to individuals in need of personal care services. As a Personal Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in assisting clients with daily activities and ensuring their overall well-being.

Responsibilities:
- Provide personal care assistance to clients, including bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Assist with mobility and transfers, ensuring the safety and comfort of clients
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes or concerns to the appropriate personnel
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, adhering to dietary restrictions and preferences
- Support clients with household tasks such as light cleaning and laundry
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, promoting social interaction and engagement
- Implement behavior management strategies for individuals with developmental disabilities or autism
- Assist with dementia care, including memory stimulation activities and monitoring behavioral changes
- Maintain accurate documentation of client care activities and observations

Experience:
- Previous experience in personal care or related field preferred
- Familiarity with working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism is a plus
- Knowledge of dementia care techniques and behavior management strategies is beneficial
- Ability to drive and transport clients to appointments or outings is desired
- First aid certification is a plus
