The Forklift Operator plays an important role in ensuring that our warehouse operates with optimal precision and efficiency, helping to fulfill orders and prepare them for shipment or receive goods for stock replenishment.
Maintain a Safe warehouse and drive a Safety-First culture
Ensures good housekeeping and cleanliness throughout the facility
Assist with all shipping and receiving of product
Identify damages, report shortages, report quality deficiencies
Unload, stack, wrap, move, and stage materials using forklift
Scan and track inventory movements using RF device
Inspect forklift, determine the need for repairs, keep updated records
Assist in keeping a safe environment
Follow all warehouse policies and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
Highschool diploma/GED required
Previous warehouse experience preferred
2 years or more forklift operation
Forklift certification and/or ability to successfully complete forklift training; stand-up/sit-down
Valid driver's license
Physical stamina; must be able to lift 50 lbs at a time
Good vision and good sense of balance
Good communicator and computer Literate
Familiar with common warehouse tools and equipment
Comfortable working independently
Teamwork, Dependable, and Reliable
