years in Old Town, Alexandria, doing comprehensive dentistry. We treat our patients and our employees

employee (and patient) retention rate and are seeking a long-term candidate who is ready to join a

highly skilled team.

Who you are: An energetic, cheerful, self-motivated, hardworking, team-focused dental front office team member. You thrive on being the “face” of the practice, have exceptional phone etiquette, and know your way

around Dentrix. You love building relationships with our long-standing patients and you have great

organizational and communication skills.

What your role will be: Full-time Dental Front Office

We offer very competitive compensation packages and will invest in the right candidate!

Schedule: Full Time

  • Monday - Thursday, 9 hour shift

Compensation:

  • Starting at $22-30 per hour; pay commensurate with experience and skill level

Key Responsibilities:

  • Having a warm, welcoming disposition and greeting everyone with a smile
  • Greet patients as they arrive, answer phones, and schedule appointments
  • Verify patient insurance and demographic information
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes
  • Handle patient inquiries and provide excellent customer service
  • Take ownership of the front desk and patient experience
  • Play an active role in improving the patient experience, organizing metrics and increasing new patient retention
  • Accurately log all new patient inquiries into New Patient Dashboard
  • Follow through on tasks in a timely manner
  • Serve as a liaison to the marketing director
  • Show flexibility and a willingness to go with the flow to make sure the patient experience is always top priority
  • Maintain a clean and organized front desk area

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of dental office procedures and insurance policies (we are a fee for service practice but we submit claims as a courtesy for our patients)
  • A friendly and professional personality
