Summary

The Housekeeper is responsible for the day-to-day cleaning of all areas of the facility to help keep all team members and residents safe. This includes cleaning surfaces, disposing of trash, disinfecting equipment, stocking and laundering the linen, and keeping housekeeping supply closets stocked in order to keep our facility clean, safe, and inviting. Old Mill Rehabilitation provides post-acute care in a resort style environment. At Old Mill Rehabilitation we pride ourselves in our 5-star customer service, personalized care, and resort style accommodations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum one (1) year experience in institutional, hotel, or other healthcare environment is preferred, but not required.
• Must have the ability to bend, stoop, and lift.
• Must be on your feet most of the shift.
• Must be able to lift about fifty pounds for removal of trash & soiled linens.
• Ability to achieve a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas.
• License driver with a well working automobile for reliability getting to and from work in all types of weather.
