Dental Assistant Job Description:

Schedule:

• Monday-Thursday: 7:40 am-5:00 pm
• Friday: 6:40 am-2:00 pm
• Wednesday (as needed): 10 am-6 pm

Dental Assistant Responsibilities:

• Assisting the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures
• Taking and developing dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Sterilizing and preparing dental instruments
• Providing patients with instructions for oral care following surgery or other dental treatment procedures
• Assisting with front office tasks as needed, such as scheduling appointments and billing

Dental Assistant Requirements:

• Proven experience as a dental assistant (experience with dental software is a plus)
• Knowledge of dental instruments and sterilization methods
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in digital X-rays and Dexis/Open Dental
• Minimum 2 years of Dental Assistant experience
• Infection Control Certified
