Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Orthodontic Assistant to join our team in our brand new, state-of-the-art orthodontic office in Ashburn, VA. As an Orthodontic Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and assisting the orthodontist in various procedures. Responsibilities:
- Assist the orthodontist during dental procedures, including orthodontic adjustments, appliance placement, and removal

-Know how to place brackets, Invisalign attachments, wires, and take full orthodontic records

- Take and develop dental x-rays

- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments

- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-treatment care

- Maintain accurate patient records and update patient charts

- Perform basic laboratory duties such as pouring models and fabricating retainers

- Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families

Qualifications:
- X-ray certification required
- Proficiency in dental software. We use Dolphin Management and Imaging at our office
- Knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
- Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control protocols
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well in a team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 29 – 32 per week
