OLD COURT PHARMACY is Hiring a Pharmacy Technician Near Randallstown, MD

Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting pharmacists in providing quality pharmaceutical care to patients. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for patient care and a strong knowledge of pharmacy operations.

Duties:
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently
- Prepare and package medications for distribution
- Maintain inventory levels and order supplies as needed
- Enter prescription information into the computer system
- Process insurance claims and handle billing inquiries
- Provide excellent customer service to patients and healthcare professionals
- Perform aseptic techniques when compounding sterile medications
- Assist with IV infusion preparations
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient care
- Adhere to all pharmacy laws, regulations, and standards

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmacy operations
- Proficiency in using pharmacy software systems
- Experience working in an acute care or hospital setting is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in medication preparation
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of inhalation medications is a plus
