Join us for Camp! This is a 10-week seasonal position (June-August) with some training and set up tasks prior to camp start!Under the direction of the Camp Director, the Camp Nurse is to provide leadership and supervision to all the staff and create a safe, positive, supportive environment for all participants. The Camp Nurse is responsible for carrying out all duties related to his/her assigned program in a manner consistent with the aims of the Old Colony YMCA. The Camp Nurse will uphold the employee code of conduct and will ensure that all areas of the job responsibilities will reflect the mission of the Old Colony YMCA, and the regulating agency. The Camp Nurse will display and encourage the character traits of caring, responsibility, honesty, and respect in the fulfillment of all job duties.EDUCATION/ EXPERIENCE/ PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:Must be at least 18years oldCurrent First Aid/CPR CertificationsAbility to lift or assist campers or staffPhysical ability to get to remote locations on camp property quicklyGood interpersonal communication skillsEvidence of physical examination every two yearsImmunity for measles, mumps, and rubellaCertification of good health from a physicianLicensed Practical Nurse licensure in the state of Massachusetts required Registered Nurse licensure in the state of Massachusetts preferred.Questions please contact Catherine at CColantuone@oldcolonyymca.org
