Position Description:
This position is responsible for providing direct support and interventions to students; consult with teachers, and other school-employed mental health professionals (i.e. school counselors, school social workers) to improve support strategies; work with school administrators to improve school-wide practices and policies; and collaborate with community providers to coordinate needed services. This position is part of the Special Services team and reports to assigned Coordinator.
Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychological and academic assessments.
• Plan appropriate Individual Education Programs for students with disabilities.
• Implement school-wide positive behavioral supports
• Assist in navigating special education processes
• Provide crisis prevention and intervention services
• Monitor student progress
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Kansas teaching license School Psychologist endorsement required
• Ninety graduate semester hours with a year-long 1200 hours supervised internship?
• Salary commensurate with education and experience.
