Okuma Fishing USA is looking for a talented individual to join our organization as a Business Systems Support Specialist. This person will work strategically with our Business Systems Manager to make sure our IT practices stay aligned with our business needs.

Duties:

• Act as the initial point of contact for all computer and system related concerns for the business. Work directly with users to understand the individual needs of the departments.
• Assist in customizing our cloud ERP systems and integrations with scripting.
• Install and maintain business PCs, networks, and peripheral as well as being a liaison between Managed Service Provider (MSP) and the business.
• Monitor system Performance and usage to maintain security and reliability
• Assist implementation projects from beginning to completion, as well as collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
• Improve training and operational procedures within a business to increase efficiency and productivity.
• Analyze current business processes and make recommendations for improvement based on industry trends and professional business knowledge
• Create and maintain technical documentation for systems and processes.
• Assist in collaboration with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for system enhancements and new projects.
• Conduct system architecture analysis and provide recommendations for improvements. Complete detailed reports listing requests to technical assistance, steps taken to resolve them, and the specific dates/individuals involved.
• Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in business systems specialist.

Skills/Requirements:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to understand complex business processes and translate them into technical solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Knowledge of cloud systems: NetSuite (ERP), PaceJet (Shipping), TrueCommerce (EDI), RF-Smart (WMS), Celigo (Connector).
• Proficiency in programming languages, such as Javascript and HTML5, as well as database technologies like SQL.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies, such as Agile or Waterfall, and familiarity with project management principles.
• Understanding of IT infrastructure components, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud services.
• Experience with enterprise systems, such as ERP, CRM, or BI platforms, is desirable.
• EDI set up knowledge or experience i.e. mapping, VANS and troubleshooting.
