We're looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to work within our Customer Identity Cloud Site Reliability subdomain and facilitate the work of our engineers. The ideal candidate is someone who is passionate about operations, infrastructure, and not intimidated by cross-organization coordination and collaboration.

You will:

• Build and lead a healthy, inclusive, collaborative team rooted in the opportunities they're creating for customers
• Ensure each member of the team is deepening their skills through coaching, training, and mentoring
• Partner with our product management team to take in requirements from our internal and external customers and turn them into achievable goals for the team
• Have the opportunity to gain a great understanding and context about how Auth0 works and learn more about security protocols and how to build reliable, highly available systems

Required Qualifications:

• U.S person Status (e.g. a U.S. Citizen, National, Lawful Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee)*
• Have 3 years of engineering management experience
• Experience leading a Site Reliability Engineering (SRE)
• Experience with cloud native operations including Kubernetes, Mongo Atlas, etc
• Are skilled at coaching teammates in all phases of their career and have experience providing focus to teams to enable them to achieve their goals
• Have a technical background and can help a team evaluate trade-offs during design and development
• Work well with technical and non-technical people to deliver high-value results
• Are a great communicator and communication facilitator and like to lead by example
• Are comfortable working with a team based in different regions/times zones as well as with individuals who work at different times of day to accommodate their diverse lives

*This position requires access to controlled unclassified information or other sensitive government data. As a condition of employment for this person, the successful candidate must be able to submit documentation establishing U.S. person status (e.g. a U.S. Citizen, National Lawful Permanent Resident, Refugee, or Asylee. 22 CFR 120.15) upon hire.

• Passion for working on systems that are highly reliable, maintainable, scalable and secure.
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services
• Experience with Incident Response Management, either as an Incident Responder or Incident Commander
• Understand regulations and laws such as HIPAA, SOC2, FedRAMP, PCI, and GDPR
