Oklahoma Technical College is seeking a Plumbing Instructor Substitute! The Plumbing Program combines theory with practical hands-on training, equipping students for entry-level employment as installers and technicians, encompassing the design, operation, maintenance, and installation of plumbing systems. As a professional in the Plumbing industry, you will use your career experience to educate the next generation of professionals with the fundamentals of plumbing, how to install, service, and repair plumbing equipment, and how to use different tools of the trade. Instruction will combine classroom and hands-on lab training. Instructors are responsible for sound educational practices and the academic development of each student. Instructors will manage the classroom environment and promote a positive and engaging learning experience, providing support, and tutoring, as needed.
Must hold a Journeyman's license with a minimum of three years of recent plumbing experience. Prior teaching or training experience a plus. Instructors are responsible for sound educational practices and the academic development of each student, instructors will manage the classroom and lab environment, and promote a positive and engaging learning experience. Substitute instructors will be trained to fill in during an instructor's absence as needed. Initial coverage needs include Mon. – Thurs. evenings, with daytime options in the future. Licensed by OBPVS.
