In partnership with the University of Tulsa, Oklahoma Surgical Hospital is offering the following Assistant Athletic Trainer Football position.
Job Mission: The Assistant Football Athletic Trainer coordinates the medical care of student-athletes in Football including the prevention, treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries and illnesses. The Assistant Football Athletic Trainer will assist in the daily operation of the athletic training room and act as a preceptor in the athletic training program. The Assistant Football Athletic Trainer reports directly to the Head Football Athletic Trainer.
Occupational Experience: Master’s degree in related field. A minimum of two years of experience in athletic training.
Requirements: BOC certification required upon hire. Must be eligible for or currently have OK Athletic Trainer License upon hire. CPR/AED Certification required upon hire.
Specialty Knowledge Skills: Previous experience in Athletic Training. excellent oral, written, and presentation skills, strong work ethic, self-starter, excellent organizational skills and great attention to detail.
