Manager of Partner Engagement and Special Projects
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer
Position Summary
The Manager of Partner Engagement and Special Projects creates and maintains meaningful relationships for the OKC Innovation District that lead to collaboration and understanding of the District’s mission. In addition, this person oversees various projects that will have an impact on the district.
About the OKC Innovation District
On December 20, 2016, The City of Oklahoma City (“City”) adopted ordinance no. 25,531, approving the Oklahoma Regional Innovation District Project Plan. This effort established a committee, referred to as the Education Committee for “Enhanced Education and Skills Training,” which has a focus on the objective of enhancing education in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (“STEM”) while exploring models for increased effectiveness related to skills training, internships, and employment opportunities stimulated by the Innovation District located in historic, Northeast Oklahoma City.
