This is an un-paid summer 2024 internship for a college level student who is earning a degree in Marketing or Public Relations. The hours are flexible to be part-time or full-time depending upon the needs of the right candidate.

Your role:

As Marketing Intern, you will work to increase the acquisition of memberships and member awareness concerning credit union products and services through digital outlets including social media platforms, external website and other digital tactics. You will analyze social media engagement through platform analytics, assist with ongoing financial education, employee engagement posts and update the website with new financial education topics. You will support the marketing department with special projects designed to aid in achieving credit union strategic goals.

In this role you will:

• Assist in creating content for social media platforms, internal communications and our external website
• Develop social media strategy and recommendations based on financial industry and social media trends to support strategic goals
• Support the marketing department with special projects as assigned
• Assist in the implementation of the promotion of Credit Union products and services
• Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

Who we're looking for:

You are an aspiring marketing professional with a willingness to learn and are looking to get some practical hands-on experience. You are a creative individual with a passion for social media, marketing, and developing community within social channels. You have strong organizational skills with the ability to stay focused in a fast-paced environment.

You'll need to have:

College student in the process of earning a Marketing or Public Relations degree

Marketing-focused education courses
