Under minimal supervision, provides professional nursing care for our radiology patients following established standards and practices. Accountable for decisions based on clinical background and experience, adherence to the Standards for Nursing Practice and decisions reflecting the policies and procedures and standards of the company radiology department. Must be fully competent in the nursing portion of all Radiology procedures. Supports and adheres to the Oklahoma Cancer Specialists and Research Institute Compliance Program, to include the Code of Ethics and Business Standards. Qualifications: Graduated from an accredited program for professional nursing education. OCSRI is willing to train the right candidate. Radiology experience highly desirable. Growth opportunities once an oncology certification is obtained. Experience and knowledge of the purpose and use of medications in the treatment of cancer is a plus. RN state license and current registration with the State Board of Nursing in practicing state. Current CPR certification required. ONS certification. Must maintain continuing education requirements.
