CNC- Set Up MachinistPosition:As a CNC Set up machinist, you will report directly to the Manufacturing Manager. You will be responsible for supporting ongoing operations in the CNC areas in our CT locations.Responsibilities:Leads by example and lives the AVNA Vision, Mission, Values and StrategyMakes their team members and others better. Leads by example.Total Customer Satisfaction, both internal and externalSet up CNC VMC, Lathes, & Swiss machines to manufacture complex parts, touch off andchange tools and edit programs as necessary to manufacture complex parts.Support production with training, adjustments, and trouble shooting.Support on going production and identifying areas for improvement or cycle time initiatives. Manage tooling inventory.Mentor other machine operators.Constantly evaluate current process/procedure and find ways to eliminate waste or improve the process.Run machines as required.Daily routine machine maintenance.Resolve production issues as they are assigned.Key Attributes:Excellent analytical, technical reasoning and problem-solving skillsStrong leadership skills.
