“Okashi” meaning sweet treats in Japanese and “Fusion” in the sense of bringing together. In our shop, we have brought the top ‘ono grinds from our families to share with yours.

We opened in July of 2016 in the Nut Tree Plaza of Vacaville, CA. Driven by a love of good food and the desire to share with the community, we specialize in fully customizable poke bowl options, carefully crafted artisan desserts, and refreshing specialty teas and smoothies.

Okashi Fusion Hawaiian Poke & Desserts in Vacaville, CA is looking for Food Servers, Cashiers, Bussers, Kitchen Prep, and Dishwashers to join our team. We are located on 1679 E Monte Vista 103. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter, ambitious, and engaged.

Prep Cooks assist management in the backend production of high quality food items. Duties for this position includes:

• Food Preparation and Stock Maintenance
• Cleaning the kitchen and storage areas
• Maintaining a clean and sanitary work station
• Dishwashing and dish organizaion
• Maintaining a safe work environment by effective storing items and reporting all damaged or faulty equipment to management
• This position requires provides the support needed to maintain the flow and efficiency of our frontend operations. We expect employees filling this role to exhibit the following traits:

*Ability to lift up to 50lbs *Ability to remain standing for extended periods *Excellent organizational, time management, and multitasking skills *Enjoys working in a team with effective communication *Knowledge and effective application of food safety procedures *Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment *Prior restaurant experience preferred

Available shifts and compensation: We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $14.00 - $15.00/hour.
