OK3 Air is Hiring a Front Desk Customer Service Representative Near Heber, UT

Front Desk Customer Service Representative Job Description:

Potential New-Hire must be detailed oriented, professional, and able to work independently and exercise discretion with confidential information. Customer contact must be conducted in a courteous and secure manner at all times.

The principle aim of the company is to provide all customers with the best possible service and maximum convenience.

OK3 AIR promotes a Drug Free environment. All successful candidates must be able to pass a drug test prior to being hired. A background check is also performed and a ‘Confidentiality & Non-Disclosure Agreement’ must be signed prior to employment.

Pay base starts @ $18.00 per hour DOE. Merit increases are reviewed upon performance after 6 months of continuous employment. Benefits packages are available for full-time employees.

Weekend work (Saturday and/or Sunday) is a required function.

Winter operation hours(Daylight Savings Nov-Mar): 07:30-17:00 --7 days/week

Summer operation hours(Daylight Savings Mar-Nov): 07:30-18:30 --7 days/week

Typical hours for this position will be 07:30-14:30 and/or 12:30-18:30, 4-5 days per week. Opening and closing hours(per above operation hours) will also be occasionally needed.

PART TIME 18-24 hours/week

4-6 weeks on-the-job paid training.

90-day probationary period.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Always greeting customers in a friendly and professional manner as though they are your guests, making eye contact the instant they walk into the lobby area or approach the Front Desk.

Answering telephone calls in a professional manner and thinking ahead of customers’ needs. Knowing how to transfer and receive numerous calls at one time.

Enter new customers in the database with complete and accurate information and consistently updating existing records.

Have a complete working knowledge of the credit cards and Fuel releases that we accept and promote the Avtrip fuel rewards program.

Customer information such as fuel pricing, addresses, phone numbers, etc., are to remain confidential to the particular customer.

Maintain a close working relationship with the Line personnel and Line manager to ensure efficiency between the front desk and Line service to best serve our customers.

Communicate with co-workers, management, customers, and others in a courteous and professional manner.

Receiving fuel requests and calling orders to Line service in a timely manner monitoring the progress of the fueling.

Regular use of UNICOM radio, including FAA regulated aircraft transmissions for local and transient air traffic.

May need to assist customers with ground transportation (rental car, taxi, and limo etc.), and have information readily available including giving accurate directions to local restaurants, hotels, and tourist attractions. Use and monitor(or coordinate) courtesy car to transport customers to/from local hotel.

Maintain and clean the lobby & all inside FBO areas(Restrooms, Kitchen, Lounges) in a neat and orderly fashion, prepare coffee and monitor the coffee supplies, etc..

Understand and update the Hangar Tiedown Report and be able to direct a customer to where their aircraft is stored.

Promote Maintenance department to customers when possible.

Use the correct opening and closing procedures for every shift, inclusive of the checklist.

Conform to all safety and etiquette rules.

KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED:
To be fully proficient in this position, teammates must possess or acquire the following through on-the-job training:

A complete understanding of the Front Desk Procedures & Operations manual, and a knowledge and understanding of company mission, vision, and values.

A thorough knowledge of OK3 Air’s customers.

A complete knowledge of Heber Valley-Russ McDonald Airport, including the location of hangars, tie downs, fuel farm, tower, and all other business located on the field.

Knowledge of basic ground control operations.

A thorough knowledge of Total FBO, FAA, and Flight Aware and Airport security and safety procedures.

A thorough knowledge of different types of aircraft.

A thorough knowledge of the telephone system and how to transfer calls, utilize voice mail, etc.

Know how to use the two-way and ground-to-air radios.

Knowledge of the accident and emergency procedure.

Knowledge of responsibility for facility and aircraft security and all aspects of safety.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 22 – 30 per week
