**JOB DESCRIPTION:**

Union County is seeking an individual to join the Human Services Department (Workforce unit) as a Business Support Specialist. Under the general supervision of the Public Assistance/Workforce Supervisor, Deputy Director and Director of Human Services, the Business Support Specialist will provide assistance and offer services to employers in the Marysville community, in an effort to aid in the applicant screening and applicant hiring processes. This position also provides support to the County's Ohio Means Jobs clients and staff on a variety of employment related issues. This is a full-time, benefit eligible, grant funded position with funding until June 30, 2023.

**QUALIFICATIONS:**

Preferred Associate degree or above in human services, business, or related field; OR education or experience in interviewing techniques, business math, customer service techniques and computer technology; OR high school diploma (or equivalent) plus work experience which meets the minimum essential functions of the position. Must have good verbal and written communication skills.

**LICENSURE OR CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:**

Must possess a valid Ohio driver's license and maintain insurability under the County's vehicle insurance policy.
