OHU Job Board is Hiring a Mobile Crisis Supervisor Near Vernon, IL

The Mobile Crisis Supervisor is responsible for the supervision of the delivery of services in the Mobile Crisis Program in accordance with all program guidelines. The supervisor will support both the day and evening staff.

Job Duties Include: 

  • Manages the daytime and evening crisis response system, including referral intake and/or client emergencies.
  • Reviews intake information of clients referred for services and determines referral acceptance and case assignment.
  • Oversees case responsibilities and provides guidance in case-planning.
  • Provides weekly supervision to professional and para-professional staff on therapeutic
    approaches with clients and offers administrative case support.
  • Reviews funding source policies and procedures, updates procedures according to state requirements and trains staff on the implementation of these procedures.
  • Ensures consistency in case files, including reviewing documentation is being filed accordingly.
  • Ensures staff handles unusual incidents in a prompt and effective manner.
  • Participates in required meetings and trainings with funding source.
  • Provides staff with training, education, ongoing supervision, and support.
  • Engages staff in professional development.
  • Monitors program expenditures to ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.
  • Ensures adherence to contractual obligations with the funding source.
  • Ensures billing accuracy and timeliness; completes billing procedures for private
    contracts when necessary.
  • Handles client, staff, caretaker, and/or collateral complaints and grievances.
  • Conducts regular unit/team meetings with staff.
  • Participates in various collateral and community groups to promote agency programs and presence within the community, creating community linkages and opportunities.
  • Participates in public speaking engagements to promote agency programs and services.
  • Participates in agency management meetings and work groups.
  • Assists CQRI in the development of agency documentation to enhance programming and
    to meet the requirements of the funding source policies and procedures.
  • Provides direct service to children and families in the absence of assigned staff.
  • Manages case assignments to ensure an equal distribution of cases and to maintain the appropriate staff-to-client ratios as outlines by the funding source.
  • Ensures adequate client contact is maintained in accordance with specific program guidelines and the minimum required contact hours are achieved each month.
  • Ensures staff at all levels are closely monitoring child and client safety and are appropriately responsive to any situation posing a risk to, or by, a client.
  • Maintains a positive organizational culture.

Qualifications

Education: Masters in Human Services or related field required

License: LCSW, LCPC or LCSW/LCPC-eligible preferred

Other: Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record with OHU required levels of coverage for auto insurance required.
