Salary $45,000 to $50,000 annually
Provide clinical assessment and ongoing treatment for people living with emotional, behavioral, and mental health disorders. Assist individuals and families by delivering mental health services that provide the client with the ability to increase overall functioning, adjust to home, integrate into the community, or maintain living stability. |
Summary of essential job functions
· Plan and administer trauma-informed therapeutic treatment using ARC evidence-based interventions · Provide comprehensive and initial diagnostic assessment of all referred clients utilizing interviews, well-recognized criteria, and program-specific tools to evaluate client needs. · Develop treatment plans using a variety of evidence-based intervention techniques to address areas of assessed need. · Regularly discuss progress toward goals with client and encourage client feedback and client ownership of outcomes. · Adapt clinical methodology to the needs of the client. · Monitor client progress and periodically reassess client's level of functioning. · Knowledge of trauma and how it affects the development · Maintain a comprehensive client file with progress/process notes. Complete assessments, quarterly reports, and closing summaries. Use a client management system to maintain client information. · Prepare monthly and quarterly reports on caseload including outcomes. · Prepare reports and testify in court as needed. · Actively expand knowledge through professional development and research. · Provide community education services, consultation as assigned, and crisis intervention as needed. Participate in multidisciplinary staffing as needed. · Develop collaborative relationships with staff and other programs both within and outside of the agency. · Understand therapeutic boundaries · Maintain the highest ethical standards, including understanding therapeutic boundaries, in keeping with professional affiliations and demonstrate the ability to perform the strength-oriented practice. · Ability to document services to meet Medicaid requirements. · Ability to travel and provide in-home services. Must have a car to provide these services. |
Minimum requirements
Education | Master’s degree in social work, psychology, counseling or related field from an accredited college and license eligible. |
Experience | One year or more years of experience is preferred. |
Required Skills/License
1. The efficiency with technology including Microsoft and case management software. 2. Proficient written and verbal clinical skills. 3. Public speaking/presentation experience. 4. A valid driver's license |
Consequence of Error
Error involving judgments of child safety may lead to serious injury or death of the client and potential liability of the organization. Errors related to documentation of services may jeopardize program funding and/or liability to the organization. |
