Job Description Summary:

This position provides general nursing care to patients and families along the health illness continuum in diverse health care settings while collaborating with the health care team. He/She is accountable for the practice of nursing as defined by the Ohio Board of Nursing.
Acute care interventional telemetry medical surgical unit, 32 private beds, acuity ranges from moderate to high (frequent neurological assessments). Patient population includes epilepsy, myasthenia gravis, stroke, multiple sclerosis, NPH, migraine, encephalopathy, brain mass, hemicraniectomy, other neurological/neurosurgical diagnoses. No ventilated patients. Heparin, Argatroban, Cardizem, amiodarone, insulin, ketamine drips. 24 beds neurological/neurosurgical. 8 beds Epilepsy Monitoring Unit.
