Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laboratory Technician to join our team. As a Laboratory Technician, you will be trained to produce and test products for the Gas Chromatography industry. OVSC has been in business for 56 years and is well known in our niche industry.

Duties:
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments
- Analyze test results and record findings accurately
- Maintain a clean and organized work area
- Adhere to safety protocols and ensure compliance with laboratory regulations
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient workflow

Qualifications:
- High School graduate with some college is helpful
- Strong mechanical aptitude is helpful
- Good Math skills
- Familiarity with histology techniques is highly desirable
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in recording data
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively

Skills:

A good basic understanding of math with some mechanic skills are helpful, it is somewhat physical, with a lot of time on your feet. This job has several different activities so you re not doing the same job all day, you are not heavily supervised once well trained.

We offer competitive pay rates and benefits packages for our employees. This is a full-time position. No evenings or week-ends. Some flexibility on start/end of you day.
