Job Title: Quality Mentor
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES: Observe, train, and mentor teaching staff at our Childcare Partnerships to maintain quality assurance with Head Start policies and and procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor?s degree in child development or early childhood education, or equivalent coursework. (Ohio Valley Educational Cooperative will determine equivalent coursework to be credited.) At least three years of experience teaching in a classroom based setting required. Mentor must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, and must demonstrate a thorough knowledge of the basic principles of appropriate early childhood development.
The Mentor must be willing to learn Head Start Performance Standards as well as Head Start and OVEC Policies and Procedures.
Compensation: $47,000 - $64,221 Yearly, Based on Education and Experience.
