JOB SUMMARY: Seeking an experienced Academy Math Teacher with a bachelor's degree in mathematics. The ideal candidate will have a background in teaching middle or high school math and be adept at coaching students to enhance their knowledge and computational skills. Strong interpersonal skills are essential. Responsibilities include providing instruction in Algebra I, Geometry, and Algebra II to freshmen, sophomores, and juniors, analyzing data to support student development, creating interdisciplinary project-based learning opportunities, and fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Additional duties involve tutoring college-level math, assisting juniors with financial literacy, co-coordinating summer STEM camps, collaborating on individualized learning plans, and administering assessments to evaluate student competencies.QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree with specialization in math. Experience teaching middle or high school mathematics and coaching students as they develop knowledge and computational skill preferred. Strong interpersonal skills.COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Contract up to 205 days. Benefit offerings through KEHP & KTRS Retirment. Compensation range: $49,000 - $58,000 depending on education and verified experience in the field.
