As the Crisis Response Team Consultant, you will oversee a crisis prevention and response program for the OVEC region. This leader will empower educators across the region to provide mental health support to students and educators in the event of a crisis. This role involves training and organizing crisis response teams, consisting of educators identified by member districts. Additional professional learning opportunities will equip educators and other leaders to respond to mental health emergencies and school safety concerns. This role aligns with Communication and Relationships and Learning priority areas of the OVEC Strategic Plan.Qualifications: Master’s degree or above Minimum of 5 years of experience Certification in an area of educational leadership or school counseling is required. Successful experience developing and implementing school and/or district crisis plans, threat assessment plans, or other relevant plans.Compensation & Benefits: 240-day contract Benefits offerings include KEHP health benefits, dental, vision, KTRS pension, sick/annual leave and non-workdays. Comp ranges from $85,375.20-$100,000 depending on experience in the field.
