Ohio Gastroenterology Group, Inc. is Hiring a Project Manager I Near Reynoldsburg, OH

Ohio Gastroenterology Group is the leading provider of general advanced GI procedures with several state-of-the-art facilities throughout Central Ohio. We employ a talented team of specialists who perform more GI procedures each year than any other practice in our area.
We currently have a full-time opening for a Project Manager I.
Duties and Responsibilities
Primary Job Functions:
  • Manages organizational projects from planning through delivery.
  • Liaises between project members, cross-functional teams, external vendors, and other stakeholders to ensure deliverables, requirements, schedules, cost, and meeting plans are communicated and driven to completion.
  • Utilizes appropriate tools to plan meetings, to align the project team to methods and goals and to track project tasks.
  • Partners with leadership to address obstacles and barriers that are inhibiting project progression.
  • Monitors task completion status to identify at risk project tasks and develops mitigation plans.
  • Supports organizational prioritization of new projects using data collection.
  • Ability to manage large scale projects, including managing metrics of success and reporting key data.
  • Supports comprehensive assessment and implementation of innovation that strategically impacts the organizations care delivery and business models.
  • Assist in the project management of pilot initiatives and enterprise-wide adoption of process improvement initiatives.
  • Supports leadership in scoping new projects in terms of resources necessary for completion as well as establishing general timelines.
  • Facilitates Lean workshops, including, but not limited to, Kaizen events & Lean Daily Management
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Requires strong self-motivation and collaboration with key stakeholders, including the ability to lead through influence.
  • Ability to methodically analyze qualitative and quantitative data
  • Experience working with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Comfort working with ambiguity.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships and influence change.
  • Successfully collaborate with others from varying roles, backgrounds, and skillsets.
  • Strong organizational skills along with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated, with ability to help set and drive direction.
Credentials and Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree: BA or BS or equivalent years of direct project management experience
  • Masters Degree preferred
  • Must have documented success leading projects in either previous employment or in academic practicum
  • MS Office Products (including Word, Excel)
  • Fluent in English
  • MS Office Products (Visio, Access)
  • Statistical software (ASA, sCS, Minitab)

  • Flexibility in working hours
  • Ability to travel when necessary
Physical Demands
  • Must be able to sit (frequent), stand (frequent), walk (frequent), stoop (frequent), bend over (frequent) and type on keyboard (frequent)
  • Ability to communicate in person and by phone (frequent)
  • Physical ability to retrieve and file records in a (6-7 shelf) file cabinet (occasional)
  • Must be able to independently lift 25 lbs. (occasional)
