The Information Security Engineer will play a key role in monitoring, detecting, and responding to security incidents to ensure the protection of the organization's information assets/infrastructure. • Monitor security alerts using advanced security information and event management (SIEM) technologies.
• Engages in incident response activities, including conducting security incident investigations, collecting evidence, and coordinating with internal and external entities to effectively respond to and recover from security incidents.
• Work alongside server, network and desktop operation support and necessary stakeholders in effectively investigating and remediating incidents and security related events.
• Perform threat hunting and investigations into potential threats based on log data and provide the results of the analysis to management.
• Develop automated security incident response playbooks to enhance the efficiency of security operations.
• Keeps abreast of the latest security threats, vulnerabilities, and industry trends, recommending appropriate security measures and technologies to strengthen the company's security posture.
• Collaborates with cross-functional teams, including IT, compliance, and business units, to develop and enforce information security policies, standards, and procedures that conform to industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
