1. Must be a graduate of an approved Radiology Technology Program

2. Must be ARRT (R) registered and Kentucky State certified.

3. Required to maintain CPR certification.

Description of Job:

• Responsible for specific job descriptions in specific modalities as assigned.
• Oversees the day-to-day operations in Radiology.
• Enforces technologist responsibilities per job descriptions and enforces hospital/department policy and procedures.
• Enforces procedures that allow for all work to be completed in a timely manner and films/images dictated at the earliest opportunity.
• Enforces all privacy, confidentiality, and safety policies and proactively identifies areas for improvements to Manager.
• Occasionally performs payroll duties in absence of manager.
• Order weeky/monthly supplies.
• Good and Bad behavior addressed.
• Oversees radiography students with assistance from Student Clinical Instructor.
• Attends assigned management meetings and obtains management skill/knowledge workshops.
• Responsible for productivity and enforces staff accountability for accuracy of job functions.
• Expected to promote and display a positive attitude.
• May be requested to be member of QI team.
• Frequently accesses email to stay up to date on information within the organization and provides a way of communication between staff members.
