Qualifications
- Education: High School diploma or GED
- Experience: Preferred 2 years
- Additional requirements / comments / education / experience / skills, registration or certification:
- Must be able to maintain a professional friendly attitude, and strive to exceed customer expectations, at all times.
- Medical/Radiology terminology and knowledge of radiology procedures/preps a plus.
- Prefer excellent communication skills and ability to work with various departments, and physician office staff.
- Prefer professional telephone skills and ability to develop/maintain excellent rapport with physicians/physician office staff.
- Clerical skills to include typing, computer, and operate basic office equipment.
Job Description
- Responsibilities include the scheduling of all radiology procedures in an accurate and timely manner to meet the needs of all customers.
- Utilizes the radiology procedure/prep manual for accurate preps and efficiency.
- Will establish and maintain a good rapport with all physicians/office staff, hospital departments, and demonstrate professional telephone skills at all times.
- Adheres to legal compliance and other regulatory policies.
