Overview:

We are seeking a talented and experienced Marketing Specialist to join our team. As a Marketing Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies to drive customer engagement and increase brand awareness. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve marketing objectives.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute email marketing campaigns in alignment with overall marketing objectives and strategies.
• Create compelling and targeted email content, including copywriting, designing, and optimizing email templates for maximum engagement and conversion.
• Manage email marketing automation workflows, including segmentation, personalization, and A/B testing to optimize campaign performance.
• Monitor and analyze key email marketing metrics, such as open rates, click-through rates, and conversion rates, to evaluate campaign effectiveness and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with design, content, and product teams to ensure email campaigns are consistent with brand guidelines and messaging.
• Stay informed about industry best practices, trends, and regulations related to email marketing and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
• Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking to inform email marketing strategies and tactics.
• Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of our target audience segments to tailor email campaigns for maximum relevance and impact.
• Manage email marketing calendar and scheduling to ensure timely delivery of campaigns and communication with subscribers.
• Work closely with CRM and analytics teams to integrate email marketing efforts with other marketing channels and platforms.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
• Proven experience 2 years in email marketing, preferably in a start-up or small business
• Proficiency in email and SMS marketing platforms (Klaviyo and Attentive) and marketing automation tools.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
• Excellent copywriting and creative skills with attention to detail.
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS and email design best practices.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Experience with A/B testing and email deliverability best practices.
• Certifications in email marketing or marketing automation (optional, but a plus).
• Knowledge in the beauty, skincare, cosmetics industry is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $21.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
