WHAT YOU’LL DO

The IT Event Producer will work in partnership with the customer, management team, global helpdesk, and SIG teams to provide on premises support for AVI-SPL customers at customer site(s) with the end goals of delivering a world-class Customer Service experience.

Day-To-Day Responsibilities:

  • Manage services in support the conference team.
  • Manage conference rooms/auditoriums/event space
  • Act as a liaison to produce events and maintain a high level of communication between all necessary departments, support staff and vendors.
  • Ensure a smooth flow from the initial consultation to the final layout.
  • Oversee and follow up on all production components and logistics from beginning to end.
  • Manage, maintain, and update the event software, documents, and timelines.
  • Assist in walk through by taking measurements, notes, and photos.
  • Liaise and negotiate with vendors for the client to offer the most cost-effective solutions to stay in budget and maximize profitability.
  • Coordinate production meetings and installation meetings for all departments involved and provide follow ups to ensure all are keeping to tasks and deadlines.
  • Confirm Staffing, Run of shows, equipment, drivers.
  • Along with Project Manager, assist on site when necessary.
  • Be the point person for troubleshooting and ensuring event is executed as planned.
  • Additionally, execute on the following responsibilities as needed:
  • Operate and maintain event spaces / auditoriums.
  • Provide technical support and subject matter expertise concerning all aspects of event spaces/auditoriums, equipment, and functionality.
  • Maintain auditorium integrity through appropriate equipment/cable maintenance.
  • Escalate housekeeping issues to appropriate parties.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards.
  • Perform, during conference set up, third level problem determination & resolution (microphones checks, remote controls, control systems, cable management, etc.) as necessary according to client guidelines.
  • Set up, testing, operation, and tear down of audio visual (AV), video conference equipment and room ambience equipment (lighting, etc.), if required for events. Ensure equipment is stored appropriately.
  • Maintain control booth areas to ensure they are clean, safe, and organized.
  • Provide Technology Support for all aspects of the meeting or event including Audio Conferencing, Video Conferencing, audio & video patching, switching, projection, PC collaboration, webcast, lighting, staging, special needs, media, recording, bridge operations- All technology in the run of show document.
  • Provide end to end support of the technology and the event.
  • Provide End User Training, Troubleshooting, Opening Tickets and Assigning them to the correct teams, escalating issue when needed, complete management of an issue until resolution.
  • Create, update, & resolve trouble tickets as assigned as well as monitoring of ticket queue.
  • Resolve issues quickly and according to defined processes.
  • Conduct testing prior to event.
  • Follow Process in Run of Show Documents, Checklists, standards.
  • Plan and participate in pre-event testing sessions, document results, and ensure contingency plans are established and implemented prior to event.
  • Manage & deploy client provided spares as required.
  • Create Statements of Work
  • Coordinate activities with other Client groups as required.
  • Liaise, recommend, plan, and execute all event spaces / auditoriums-based events and meetings, in collaboration with the client.
  • Interact in person, by phone, &/or e-mail directly with client management & end-users as part of the Event Services Team.
  • Ensure high quality customer service levels at all times.

Nice-To-Haves:

  • Minimum of 3 - 5 years of audiovisual integration and/or service experience
  • Formal education in Electronics or related field

  • AMX Programmer I
  • Crestron Professional Installation
  • Essentials of Crestron Programming Certification
  • Exton AV Associate Certification
  • InfoComm Quick Start to the Audio-Visual Industry

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
