Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Room Manager to join our team. As a Room Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our room service department. This position requires strong leadership skills, excellent customer service abilities, and a background in the hospitality or food industry.

Responsibilities:
- Manage and supervise the room service staff, ensuring efficient and high-quality service delivery
- Train and onboard new employees, providing guidance and support throughout their employment
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures to streamline operations and enhance customer satisfaction
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders for supplies as needed
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and special requests in a professional and timely manner
- Collaborate with other departments to coordinate services and ensure smooth operations
- Conduct regular performance evaluations for staff members
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the room service area

Experience:
- Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role in the hospitality or food industry is required
- Strong knowledge of coffee preparation techniques is preferred
- Experience in cash handling procedures is necessary
- Familiarity with culinary practices and food safety regulations is a plus
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential for this role
- Ability to lead, motivate, and inspire a team of employees
- Proficient in interviewing, hiring, and training new staff members
