Busy Ophthalmology/optometry practice seeking full time optician/optical assistant. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to multi-task, have good typing skills and exceptional customer service. Employee will perform a variety of optical related duties, which include but not limited to:

• Educating patient on their purchase
• Troubleshooting patient’s issues with eyewear
• Taking measurements for the eyewear
• Entering orders into electronic health records
• Posting charges and filing insurance
• Tracing frames and ordering lenses
• Processing/checking lab work

Optical experience is preferred but not necessary; we are willing to train the right person for the position. Salary is based on experience. All candidates subject to background check.
