The West Virginia Attorney General’s Office seeks an Investigator to join our Consumer Protection & Antitrust Division. This investigator will conduct investigations into consumer complaints and business practices. Investigators also provide services on behalf of other divisions, state agencies, and regulatory boards. Ideal candidates will have a law enforcement or investigative background with experience in research, interviewing, and surveillance. Literacy in Microsoft Office programs and web-based searches is highly desired. Successful candidates must be able to organize and conduct complex investigations on a variety of subject matters, and compile information to develop clear and concise narrative reports. Successful candidates will be required to conduct investigative interviews, field inquiries, testify in hearings and at trial, and collaborate with various government, non-government, and law enforcement agencies.
