Reports to: Crisis Response Director
This position operates as an essential employee. All members of Harford Crisis Response (HCR) are the frontline, first response workers for behavioral health in Harford County. The Crisis Response Assistant Director shall be independently licensed to practice therapy in the state of Maryland (LCSW-C, LCPC, equivalent or greater).
The Harford Crisis Response Assistant Director provides oversight of day-to-day service delivery for HCR ensuring timely and effective responses to all people in Harford County experiencing behavioral health crises. The HCR Assistant Director is responsible for promoting a positive work culture including leading efforts related to diversity and inclusion in the workspace. The HCR Assistant Director acts as the Crisis Response Director’s Designee in their absence.
Requires a valid driver’s license and the ability to operate agency vehicles as a condition of employment. May be required to drive personal vehicle on occasion to complete job duties.
Core hours will be between 8am-7pm, M-F, 40hrs/week. Afterhours on call rotation is a part of this role also.
