Job Description:
An outside sales representative conducts sales out in the field via face-to-face interactions with both potential and existing customers. They are responsible for offering the best possible customer experience as well as providing hands-on explanations of any new or updated products when necessary, working with clients to design their offices with updated office furnishings fit to suite their needs.
Travel within sales territory to meet prospects and customers
Conduct calls and face-to-face meetings with customers daily
Build and maintain relationships with new and repeat customers
Maintain meticulous records within our CRM of all sales leads and ongoing projects
Educate customers on how products or services can benefit them financially and professionally
Sell the company’s products or services to customers within your given territory
Monitor the company’s industry competitors, new products, and market conditions to understand a customer's specific needs
Work closely with marketing department to help build the brand
Work with in-house staff on customer projects
Compensation
Base Salary $40,000 - $50,000 based on experience Commission (4-10%) = $90,000 On Target Earnings. Our newest rep has been on board 8 months and has been consistently making $9,000 - $13,000/month (including commission) since month three. Eight paid holidays. 12 PTO days. Furniture (including our Ashley Home Furniture & Patio Furniture Lines) at significant discounts. Technology stipend of $100/month. Paid training via a world class sales training company.
