Job Summary:
We are seeking a Retail Assistant Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist the Store Manager in daily operations, ensuring excellent customer service, managing inventory, and leading the retail team.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily store operations in the absence of the Store Manager
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints
- Manage inventory control and ensure stock levels are maintained
- Assist in negotiating with vendors for favorable terms
- Drive retail sales through effective merchandising and promotional strategies
- Utilize retail math skills to analyze sales data and make informed decisions
- Demonstrate leadership by training and supervising staff
- Manage time effectively to meet operational needs
- Perform administrative tasks such as scheduling, payroll, and reporting
- Conduct employee orientation and ensure staff are well-informed

Qualifications:
- Prior experience in retail with a focus on customer service and inventory management
- Proficiency in retail sales techniques and strategies
- Strong negotiation skills with vendors and suppliers
- Knowledge of retail math principles for pricing and profit margins
- Leadership abilities to motivate and guide a team effectively

Pay: $16.96 - $20.43 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
