Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated individual to join our team as a Food Runner. As a Food Runner, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our restaurant. Your primary responsibility will be to deliver food orders from the kitchen to the appropriate tables in a timely manner.

Duties:

- Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure accurate and prompt delivery of food orders

- Deliver food orders to customers' tables with care and attention to detail

- Assist with basic food preparation tasks, such as garnishing dishes or assembling appetizers, when needed

- Communicate any customer requests or concerns to the appropriate staff members

- Provide exceptional customer service by being attentive, friendly, and accommodating

Qualifications:

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members

- Knowledge of proper food handling and safety procedures

- Ability to work well under pressure and remain calm during busy periods

- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required

Note: This position requires standing for long periods of time and lifting trays of food.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: From $9.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
