Dog Handler/Trainer

I am looking for individuals with a high level of work ethic and initiative. Trainers that can be relied upon to work independently and remotely from home. Years of dog handling experience is not required but some, does help.

Formal training is (17 days) provided FREE of cost at our main headquarters facility in VA. Your only INVESTMENT is to provide your own air fair, lodging, and rental car to the facility and purchase kennels to use at your home for board and trains. 1000.00 of this cost will even be reimbursed to you after 6 months of contracted work! The training course certifies you as an official OFF LEASH K9 TRAINER, absolutely FREE! Out the gate, you will be making $32hr per private lesson as well as $1000 upon successful completion each 2wk board and train . This will jump to 1100 per 2 week board and train after 6 months.

Full time trainers average 4-6k a month, working from home with your own flexible hours!

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Interacting with clients and potential clients in a professional manner. Answering emails and phone calls from clients in a timely manner. Learning, implementing and reinforcing training methods taught by Off Leash K9 Training. Cleaning and sanitizing equipment throughout the day. Bathing dogs when necessary. Giving medication to dogs when necessary. Taking the dogs outside to relieve themselves multiple times per day. Using computers, phones, cameras, and other technology to document individual dog progress, check in with franchise owner, and communicate with clients, as needed. Working one on one with individual dogs and their owners. Learning and recognizing dog behaviors. MUST be able to board and train dogs from home. (2 at a time is considered Full Time) Conduct private one-on-one lessons at a local park with client and dog. Posting on OLK9 social media multiple times a week to promote yourself as a trainer.
